Apparently I'm supposed to be curled up in a corner, crying, because the fan_wank people think I'm stupid/too emotional/other stuff I don't remember. Also, I'm supposed to be ashamed of what I posted Sunday.

But my emotions don't embarrass me. I don't know why they should. And expressing them doesn't embarrass me, and neither does other people holding them up to ridicule.

Of course, I am going to have to poison all their sugar. But that's easy enough.

I saw this post in my sporadic f'list reading, and so of course I had to be nosy and go back and see what all the hubbub was about.

All I want to say is that I am a huge, HUGE fan of that NYR story. I have reread it countless times, and I cite it to people often when discussions of how a story without any graphic descriptions of sex can still make me faint with its hotness. So, while I completely sympathize with your right to take it down, I do hope that you might choose to repost it here at some point.
